CellRoute has been developed to enable major network operators to provide Fixed Wireless Access to
emerging markets around the world.
In countries where having a fixed line is either an expensive
option or network infrastructure does not exist, the CellRoute
can provide fixed line functionality over the GSM network.
CellRoute provides users with high quality voice using
EFR (Enhanced Full Rate) codecs and has a data link rate
of up to 85.6kbps using GPRS for Email and Internet access.
The CellRoute can be self-installed by the end user,
making the provisioning cycle simple and reducing costs
for the network operator.
The unit has integrated batteries to cater for mains
power outages. 11 hours of standby time is provided with
a talk time of up to 2 hours.
